How do I find time to exercise with two kids? This is a question that I’m asked on a daily basis from friends, family and the women in my classes. Well the answer is not what you want to hear unfortunately and it really is quite simple……….I just MAKE and TAKE the time to exercise . Every morning when I wake up and am going over my daily schedule of clients/classes etc. I pencil into my old school day planner when my workout will be happening. Some day’s my workout will consist of a 30 minute workout because I have a baby that has decided that she wants to be up before nap time is over! Other day’s I will have an entire hour where I’m kiddie free and I can take the time to enjoy my workout without rushing. The bottom line is that you have to make and take the time to workout. It’s going to give you more energy for the remainder of your day and will make you feel so much happier that you’ve taken time out of your busy schedule for you! Other awesome way’s to exercise with small children is to go and pick up a running stroller and take them for a run with you. Mommy and Me exercise classes are a great way to get out and exercise with your baby and other mama’s like you! Lastly, another way to ensure that you get a good workout in when your baby is younger is to strap the baby onto you and have them join you for your workout! My youngest did this for so long that she is now a MASTER planker!
