The Importance of Group Fitness

Exercising with a group of women is empowering. It makes you feel strong, happy and proud to be part of the female race! It is also one of the few times of the day that you are solely with a group of women! When I founded Jenny B’s Bootcamp and Personal Training I wanted to create a class that was specifically designed towards everything that would make exercise easy for my client’s. I wanted my set up to “not be intimidating”, I wanted my client’s to feel comfortable and open with me, I wanted to offer the flexibility of switching into other classes if something came up (ex. sick child, have to stay late at work etc.). I hated the idea of signing up for classes, paying all of this money and if my kid’s ended up sick for 5 out of the 10 classes then I was %#*& out of luck! Those classes were lost and I had no hope of reaching my fitness goals for that session :( . With my pre-mom, current mom and future mom lifestyles in mind I created a schedule that works for everyone! I want you to attend all of the classes that you signed up for, I want you to make up any missed classes that you have and I want you to come for a fitness assessment before your session starts and at the end of the 8 weeks! This holds you accountable not only to me, but more importantly to yourself. Your classes also hold you accountable to the women that you attend class with! Believe me they will be checking up on you to see why you missed your last class!

Bottom line, group exercise is fun and it is more fun than exercising alone! You get to laugh, chat, make new friends and get your arse kicked while doing so! Heck, basically it is a wine night without the extra calories right! Come out to my class and give it a shot……….you won’t regret it :) .
